About Brian

Brian Daugherty is a Senior Fellow at Construx Software where he provides training and consulting services that help organizations and individuals adopt software development practices that work in the real world.

He has more than thirty-five years of experience building and operating scientific software, enterprise applications, and internet-scale web sites and services for the US Navy, Microsoft, Expedia, T-Mobile, and Sea-Bird Scientific. His leadership experience includes building and managing development and testing teams, and helping them navigate the adoption of Agile practices, improving their process and operational maturity, and the transition to developer testing and DevOps.

Brian has a Master of Software Engineering Degree from Seattle University (SU), and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Business Administration from Western Washington University (WWU).
